Our mission is making clinical experience more accessible

You see it every year.  Capable, motivated students who want clinical experience and struggle to find it.

Clinical roles are competitive, often require certification, and aren't always easy for students to identify or access on their own.  That's where CapYear comes in.

We help your students find the right opportunities, get the credentials they need, and build the experience that helps them discover the path that's actually right for them.

Three ways we support your students.

Training, opportunities, and support, built specifically for pre-health students.

1) CCMA Certification Training

Our medical assistant certification training program is designed for pre-health students. Earn the nationally recognized CCMA certification which opens doors to more clinical jobs and gives students real exposure to patient care. 

2) Clinical Experience Job Board

A dedicated job board exclusively for pre-health students where they can find and apply to real clinical positions. Many roles don’t require prior certification or experience, making this a strong starting point for students early in their journey.

3) Clinical Experience Workshops

Free in person and virtual workshops covering how employers evaluate pre-health candidates, which employers are most likely to hire them, and resume and interview strategies based on real employer feedback.
