David Roberts, PA-C in
Instructor
When I was halfway through my undergraduate education, I decided I wanted to become a PA and started to seriously plan my post-graduate education. All the PA schools I considered had one thing in common, they wanted candidates with medical experience. None of my pre-health advisors could give me the resources to both obtain basic medical training and match that training to a job. Thankfully, my father happened to sit next to a healthcare recruiter on a plane who got me on the right track.
Having the resources to train and work in medicine should
not depend on luck or “who you know”. That is why I am excited to be a part of
CapYear which provides not only high-quality medical training but also helps
its students leverage that training into high quality work experience.
